Her parents are Shashikant Phadnis, a banker, and Vandana Phadnis, a teacher. Ankita has a younger brother named Sooraj Lokhande. Sadly, her father passed away in August 2023.
She completed her schooling in Indore and graduated from the same city. Ankita Lokhande’s passion for acting dates back to her childhood, and she actively participated in various dramas during her college years. In pursuit of her acting career, she made the move from Indore to Mumbai in 2005.
