Mohit Manocha aka The Traveling Desi was born on 16th August 1986 in Faridabad, Haryana to a middle-class Sikh family. His father was a lawyer by profession and his mother was a teacher.
Unfortunately, his father died when Mohit was a teenager. Mohit was an average student and didn’t like his studies. He completed HSC and then skip his graduation and went to work with his Uncle (Mama) who had an IT business.
His job was to sell software to foreign countries. Mohit did extremely well in his job and started earning a good amount of income. His financial conditions became stable and soon he became rich.
But in his 20s, he committed some mistakes because of which he had to suffer huge losses in his business and had to quit his job.
After this, he created his own Youtube channel and named it Traveling Desi. Initially, he didn’t get success in it, but gradually people came to know about it, and now he is one of the biggest traveling vloggers in India.
